Chess makes your mind more agile! Oscar Banks, our esteemed class president, agrees. He will be joining the chess club for the next three meetings. Join him, and us, Tuesdays after school in the Geography Lab.

Everyone knows that academics are the key to success. But did you know what zephr means? How about ubiquitous, or unctuous? How are your critical reading skills? Studied your pre-calc lately?

Don't be afraid. Come to the coolest party in Candor this Saturday night, at Sherman Golub's house. We'll grill veggie burgers and serve up SAT success while we play review games and study until midnight. 

All teens who are preparing for the SAT are welcome. And let's face it, who isn't? (Except for you lucky ducks who already got into Yale...)

It's everyone's job to  make Candor beautiful. Teens, join the cause! Come to the next Teens Against Graffiti (TAG) meeting this Tuesday at the Community Center. We'll serve apple juice and carrot sticks, and talk about how to keep ugly spray paint off our streets!
